Iranian series ‘Bewilderment’ has been scheduled to be aired on ifilm English TV, the website for the channel has reported.
The series, produced by Reza Joudi and directed by Omid Bonakdar as well as Keyvan Ali-Mohammadi, will start airing on Sunday, July 29, 2018.
‘Bewilderment’ is the story of the turbulent journey of families torn apart by lies, betrayal and enmity.
Atefeh, a doctor, is trying to bounce-back from a divorce. Poulad, a man who was raised in Paris, returns to Iran and suddenly finds himself in search of his real family.
Their fate leads them to unimaginable truths after they knock down numerous obstacles, and against all odds, forgiveness, hope and love prevail and conquer all.
Notable among the cast are Shahin Taslimi, Setareh Eskandari, Babak Hamidiyan, Mehrdad Seddiqian, Gelareh Abbasi, Ateneh Faqih-Nasiri, Parviz Pourhosseini, Farrokh Nemati, Maryam Boubani, Elham Korda, Houman Seyyedi, Azadeh Samadi, Roya Mirelmi, Hamid-Reza Pegah, and Esmaeel Mehrabi.
‘Bewilderment’, made in 2010, will replace ‘The Sound of Rain’, which will be aired daily at 18:00 GMT.
ifilm English will also repeat each episode of the social drama on the next day at 00:00, 09:00 and 15:00 (all GMT times). The series comprises 31 episodes.
